When you choose to pay by bank transfer, the money you send must come from a bank account that's in your name.
Avoiding delays
When you use a joint account to pay, it can be difficult for us to identify that the payment is from you. This is because payments sometimes arrive without the names of both account holders.
So that your transfer isn't delayed, contact us before you make payment to tell us that you'll be using a joint account. We'll need to know:
- the full name
- date of birth
- your relationship to the other account holder
If you've paid from a joint account before, our system will have a record of this and you should be good to go. If we do have problems, we might contact you to confirm details before we send your money.
